A custom night guard creates a barrier between the upper and lower teeth that absorbs and redistributes the forces of grinding and clenching during sleep. It protects enamel, existing restorations, and reduces the strain placed on jaw muscles and joints over the course of a night.

Digital scan or impression

Laboratory fabrication
Your guard is fabricated in a dental laboratory from the scan of your teeth. Material selection depends on your grinding severity, jaw anatomy, and comfort preferences. Fabrication typically takes one to two weeks.
Fitting and delivery
We check the fit, comfort, and bite balance of the guard at your delivery appointment. Adjustments are made so the guard seats accurately and does not shift or cause discomfort during wear.
