Accessibility
Statement

Our commitment to making this website usable by everyone, regardless of ability or the technology they use to access it.

Our Commitment

Dental Implants & Cosmetics is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to people with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to information about their dental health options, regardless of visual, auditory, cognitive, or motor ability.

We actively work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

Accessibility Features on This Site

The following features have been implemented to support accessible use of this website:

Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements, navigation menus, form fields, buttons, and links, are fully operable using a keyboard alone. Dropdown menus open when their trigger receives keyboard focus.
Skip navigation link. A skip to main content link appears at the top of every page when activated by the Tab key, allowing keyboard users to bypass repeated navigation.
Screen reader support. Pages are structured with semantic HTML landmarks (header, main, footer, nav) and proper heading hierarchy (H1 through H3) so screen readers can navigate content efficiently.
ARIA labels and states. Interactive components declare their current state and relationships to assistive technology using ARIA attributes, including expanded and collapsed states, popup presence, required field status, and element relationships.
Decorative content hidden from assistive technology. Background videos, decorative SVGs, and purely visual elements are hidden from assistive technology so screen readers focus on meaningful content.
Visible focus indicators. A clear focus ring in terracotta appears on all keyboard-focusable elements so users navigating by keyboard always know where they are on the page.
Reduced motion support. Animations and transitions are disabled for users who have enabled the reduced motion setting in their operating system.
User zoom not blocked. The viewport is configured to allow full browser zoom and pinch-to-zoom, letting users scale text and content to their preferred size.
Form accessibility. All form fields have visible labels. Required fields are marked with both a visual indicator and an accessible required attribute. Radio button groups are grouped with a proper accessible group label.
Color contrast. Primary body text meets WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements. We continue to review and improve color usage across the site.
Language declaration. The page language is declared as English (lang='en') so screen readers apply correct pronunciation rules.

Standards and Conformance

This website aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines cover a wide range of recommendations for making web content more accessible, including accommodations for blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and cognitive and learning disabilities.

We conduct ongoing accessibility reviews and make improvements as we identify areas that do not meet our standards. We also use automated testing tools and keyboard and screen reader testing as part of our development process.

Physical Office Accessibility

Our Plantation, Florida office is designed to be welcoming to all patients:

  • ADA-compliant accessible parking spaces are available in our building lot.
  • Our entrance, waiting area, and treatment rooms are wheelchair accessible.
  • Restrooms are accessible.
  • We are happy to accommodate patients who require additional time, assistance, or specific accommodations. Please let us know when scheduling.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of this site are still being improved:

  • Certain color combinations used for decorative eyebrow labels and secondary text are being reviewed for enhanced contrast.
  • Some older embedded content from third-party platforms may not fully meet our standards.

We are actively working to address these limitations and appreciate your patience.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you experience any barriers to access, please let us know so we can address them promptly.
